Hi angel babies.
We're looking for prose and poems that live in your notes app. As a collective of writers ourselves, we know the untapped glory that exists within the notes app can carry the sort of energy and unconscious brilliance that comes with spontaneity. Did you ever leave a grocery store mid-shopping because you thought your grocery list could be edited into a poem? Have you ever stopped in the middle of your work because there was a line that you knew you wouldn't be able to replicate? Half thoughts/ sentences rushed and with misspellings/ overheard quotes. Submit to our screenshot literary journal.
Below is our submission form. Attach your screenshot to the submission, include your name and email address, and we'll respond to you as fast as we can. The submission can only be one screenshot attachment (no series of attachments, please). After we accept your piece, we'll ask you to provide a recording of you reading the piece (if you feel uncomfortable with this, we'll provide the audio recording for you), a screenshot of your bio (under 35 words), and a non-professional selfie headshot.
Important: we will not accept or tolerate anything that promotes ableism, misogyny, oppression of marginalized communities, racism, or violent fantasies.
Questions? Don't have a notes app but still want to be involved? The form being a jerk and not letting you attach stuff? Just shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
